Arianna shares an ancient martial art, rich on the physical and spiritual point of view. She doesn't teach only with passion and commitment but she teaches a discipline that is part of her as a life vision. It's easy to find teachers that transmit a discipline, it's difficult to find masters that are the discipline. Arianna is one of this second category and that make her a complete teacher either professional either humanly. Ahò. -Gianella-

Let’s start from the Reconnection to the Earth, with our wild and autenthic nature, through our body.
Kalaripayattu is a vedic practice, to join body, mind and spirit and in macro a way to reconnect the singole unity we are with the totality of the cosmos.
Kalaripayattu is considered the Mother of Martial Arts, born in Kerala, in India in the 4th sec B.C. The legend narrates that the monk Bodhidharma learnt this martial form in India and brought it in Shaolin Temples, giving birth to Kung Fu. Its forms were born from the observation of the animal kingdom and are composed by a base of Animal Postures, assimilable to the Asanas of the Yoga, combined in dynamic choreographic sequences with kiks and jumps. When the student acquires enough strenght, resistence and flexibilities, after a long period of physical practice, starts the training with weapons.
A journey into the energy Yang, of the Warrior, of Shiva, to create presence and energetic stability. A journey to brake your own physical and mental limits. The practice develops a strong core, an explosive and flexible body, a focused and clear mind. The work is energetically concentrated on the lower chakras, on the rootment, the relationship with the Earth, the strenght of the lower limbs, the opening of the hips.
To reach the harmony we combine a Ying part, of softness and breath, with some dynamic sequences of Vinyasa Yoga and deep work of Chakra Meditation.
Kalaripayattu is a dinamic meditation.
After a dynamic practice in which the energetic channels (Nadis) open and get free, the vital energy is moved through visualizations, Mudra (hand postions) and Mantra to concentrate the energy to nourish the Chakras (Main Centres of Confluence of the Nadis) through the Chakra Meditation, in the static of the body.
The work focus on strenghtening and unlocking the vital energy of the root, the first chakra, Muladhara. This energetic center is the connection point with the animal realm and guards our primordial insticts (the survival instinct, the attack-defense instinct, the procreation instinct) that often operate latently within us. By acting this energy through the practice and by listening it through meditation we can bring it to our consciousness and transform it. During the meditation the root energy is brought in the other chakras and harmonized. On a psychological point of view working this energy means working deeply on self-confidence, overcoming fears and insecurities.
Kalaripayattu is a martial technique but is also a therapeutic art connected to the traditional indian medicine, the Ayurveda. through the knowledge of Marma Points, the 108 vital spots of the human body, is used to balance and revitalize the psyco-physic system.

TESTIMONIALS
Next spring will be one year that I practice kalaripayattu online with Arianna. As lover and practioner of indian classical performative arts (Barathanatyam, Odissi, Kathakali), was not difficult for me to get into this explosive practice, that connects the mind and the body to earth, through the wilder part of the soul. Aianna's passion is powerfull and engaging and transmmits the greta love and respect she has for this ancient art. The physical work is energetic and the determination is important. The final meditation that Arianna includes, helps to hamornize the energy and remember the spiritual part that resides within us.

The work with Arianna is a complete one. We start in circle so we can look each others in the eyes to start the practice with the same breath. Kalaripayattu is like a journey into ourselves, in the attention and care of our own bodies in the silence of the mind. The practice is alert and Arianna's guide is clear and expert. Her sensivity allows to the ones who are pacticing for the first time, to dive deep completely in this wondeful art. The final meditation is a fantastic tool in which I feel I can channel the energy awakened during the practce, I feel much more concentrated and present in my body, in my spirit and in my mind. -Riccardo-
Discover kalaripayattu was an amazing experience; it develops the strenght of the body and the concentration of the mind. At the end of the practice there is a meditation, extremely important to balance and distribute the energies. Arianna is a teacher with a great experience and above all very passionate. Giulia-
