DIRECTOR AND CHOREOGRAPHER
Arianna Romano artistic work focuses on exploring human psychological realms in relation to the concept of transcendence and spirituality: from primal instincts, through relational dynamics, to higher realms of metaphysical existence. From a technical perspective, her martial and yogic training greatly influences her language and the themes she addresses.

EDUCATION
In 2024 she took the 'Diploma of Kalaripayattu' in Kalarigram.
In 2019 she graduates in FAICC (Formação Avançada em Interpretação e Criação Cénica) from Companhia Instável.
She works with Gustavo Ciríaco, Roberta Carreri e Carolina Pizarro (Odin Teatret), Chiara Guidi (Societas Raffaello Sanzio), Leonardo Delogu/Casa Dom.
She studied contemporary dance with Ariella Vidach and Giorgio Rossi/Sosta Palmizi. She deepened the study of the dance with Francesco Scavetta, Akira Yoshida, Abbondanza/Bertoni, Mafalda Deville, Elizabeth Lambeck, Cristina Planas Leitão, Sabrina Gargano.
She studied Physical Theatre in 'Odin Teatret' during 2015 and with 'Teatro La Madrugada' during the years 2013/4.
She deepened the study of the theatre with Teatro Valdoca, Motus, Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowsky. She is also a teacher of Kalaripayattu, indian martial art. Between 2012 and 2015 she worked in M.A.C.A.O. (https://www.macaomilano.org/) as a performer and an activist.
